Recording artist and rapper, Drake has asked the judge to dismiss the case, Dec. 23. The lawsuit was filed by the investors of nightclub, Entertainment Enterprises for $16 million after the brawl between him and Hip Hop singer, Chris Brown, June 14. Drake insists that just because he was present at the party does not mean they have to blame him for the W.i.P. nightclub in New York City receiving bad publicity from the press, TMZ reported. The Canadian also claims quoting New York Times that the club has “a history of violence and other problems.” He also mentions about the 2011 incident in the club when it was almost shut down by the New York Police Department because of “string of violent incidents.” The nightclub’s liquor license was suspended to similar incidents earlier.
